Medicinal Uses: Echinacea is one of the many plants that have antioxidant properties. This is one of the reasons it aids in keeping the immune system strong. Echinacea also aids in lowering blood sugar and reduces inflammation both internally and topically. Topically it can be made into a wash, a salve, or an oil to use on sores, age spots, inflammation, skin disorders. Also using echinacea internally (tea, tincture or infusion, may help with skin issues as well.
