			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Earth, the birthplace of humanity has long since passed into the realm of legend.  Her children, finally forced from the nest, have scattered across a million worlds, lending their genes to the universal mix.  The results of these unions run the gamut.  Many are vaguely humanoid while in some, Terra&#8217;s contribution is hardly noticeable. In yet others, the strain has bred true and in a few&#8230;a very few&#8230;the bloodline has remain pure.</p>
<p>When the children of Terra first ventured to the stars, they were welcomed by most.  After all, the Imperium had already existed for eons and were used to encountering younger races.  If the human&#8217;s overtures weren&#8217;t openly welcomed, they were accepted or at least tolerated.  They learned..they grew&#8230;they thrived and spread.</p>
